Job Description

As a QA Engineer (Automation), you will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript, ensuring scalable, efficient, and high-quality web application releases through continuous integration and collaboration.

Employment type: Indefinite term type contract
Shift: Day Shift, Monday–Friday (08:00 AM–05:00 PM EST)
Work setup: Onsite, Connecta 26, Colombia

The Qualifications We Seek

• 1–5 years of experience in QA automation for web applications
• Strong proficiency in Cypress and TypeScript
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with API testing and performance testing tools is a plus
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Your Daily Tasks

• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and TypeScript
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Identify opportunities for automation and streamline testing processes
• Collaborate with developers and manual QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Participate in sprint reviews, planning sessions, and defect triage
• Document automation frameworks and provide guidance or training to QA team members
